The past two weeks have been...a lot. I was doxxed, which means my work information was published among anti-vaxxers. This initiated a flood of harassment "one degree closer" than what I've become accustomed to online. Who knew, 16 months ago, that I would need increased security at my office door. Or offered police escort. Just because I'm a scientist endorsing public health.
Thank you so much for everything you do. So sorry that you are a target. The world is so crazy but what you are doing MATTERS! We appreciate the blood, sweat and tears you put into keeping science at the forefront of everything. Big hug from one working mama of small kiddos to another.
