Good morning, all.
If you haven’t already noticed, you received a Spanish version of yesterday’s YLE (English) post in your inbox. This was a mistake on our end. You are not missing any content. You will continue to receive the newsletter in English and do not need to do anything to your account to stop receiving the Spanish one. Apologies for the confusion. (And thank you for the kind replies cheering on the effort to reach a diverse audience!)
BUT this is a great opportunity to say: YLE is available in Spanish! If you know anyone who might benefit, send them to our sister newsletter here.
The next post in English will be coming tomorrow morning. Thanks for your patience!
All the best, Katelyn
“Your Local Epidemiologist (YLE)” is written by Dr. Katelyn Jetelina, MPH PhD—an epidemiologist, data scientist, wife, and mom of two little girls. During the day she works at a nonpartisan health policy think tank, and at night she writes this newsletter. Her main goal is to “translate” the ever-evolving public health science so that people will be well equipped to make evidence-based decisions. This newsletter is free thanks to the generous support of fellow YLE community members. To support this effort, subscribe below:
Good for you! Sending it on to my niece who is bilingual and works with Spanish-speaking clients.
No problemo. Era claro. Gracias!
