Good morning, all. If you haven’t already noticed, you received a Spanish version of yesterday’s YLE (English) post in your inbox. This was a mistake on our end. You are not missing any content. You will continue to receive the newsletter in English and do not need to do anything to your account to stop receiving the Spanish one. Apologies for the confusion. (And thank you for the kind replies cheering on the effort to reach a diverse audience!)
Good for you! Sending it on to my niece who is bilingual and works with Spanish-speaking clients.
No problemo. Era claro. Gracias!
It was fun to read in Spanish!
Before today, I didn't realize there was a Spanish version. In my book, it's a "happy accident." :)
I'm going to forward the Spanish version link to my colleagues who work directly with Spanish-speaking clients.
I loved it, but read it by google translator
I was surprised when I received the spanish version and wondered what was going on.
To be honest, I have been trying to learn spanish for almost a year now, mostly using Duolingo, and while I don't understand all of it, yet, I was able to get the gist of the discussion, which was a pleasant surprise. I have actually been tempted to try reading the spanish versions and click on the link that says "If you want to read the spanish version, click here" for a while now.
So, it was as another commenter put it, a "happy accident"
Actually thought it was kinda cool.... there is a huge Latino/Hispanic portion of our society that is sadly and significantly underserved by our "for profit" healthcare system. Connecting with them on all public health issues is absolutely key to helping their overall health. Cheers. Esto me hace muy feliz!
Adding my appreciation that your valuable info is being transmitted on more than just The English Channel!
Thanks for the notification and like others, I think it is great you are reaching a Spanish-speaking audience. This leads me to a question I have: how do you pronounce your last name? is it the Spanish "H" for the "J" or the English "J" sound at the start? When I talk to others about you, I want to get it right. Thank you.
So you are human. Thanks for your great service to the rest of us. You have become essential but if the project hinders your family development time to reassess.
I love that you sent this email. I was scratching my head, assuming a mistake have been made, and wondering if somehow my subscription got flipped to Spanish. You answered all those questions so gracefully. Thank you!
Thanks, Katelyn! I've passed on you newsletter to my Facebook friends as most of us are now senior citizens.
