Thank you for making "social political views" and "fiscal political views" two separate questions.

Thank you for your continued effort to giving us the proper information. I filled out the survey, but I wanted to also make a comment that you will hopefully take constructively.

I can't speak for everyone, but one of the reasons I was willing to pay the money for the subscription was the inclusion of the comments section. I am guessing many others have done this as well. There are often many great comments and questions here, but it seems like you rarely answer questions or comment here. I think we understand that you are busy, but is it possible to be a bit more involved in the discussion after your informative posts? I think it would be quite helpful and appreciated by many. Thank you!

Thank you for your work. Brian Davis' comment, below, resonated with me. I had already made the suggestion in my survey response that you may want to consider a "live event" where people can type questions to you and you answer in real time. I know an expert on China who does a subscription service and he does this effectively from time to time and it was so interesting to see the Q&As. Answering questions after each post may be too time consuming for you, but having a live event once in a while so we can all interact in real time via writing Qs and you responding may be fun and educational.

Completed and I'd love you to know what I do with your emails. I'm a minister in a scientifically oriented denomination, and I've helped my congregation craft re-opening plans (then re, then re, then re craft re-opening plans) with your findings. I'm partnered with someone who is 75 and I inform myself about his relative risks and what that means for our lifestyle. I'm a parent to a 23 year old who loves to travel to Asia, and I help him figure out the risks of his upcoming trip and maybe what to do with an illness if he gets sick (he has a chronic illness and additionally is immunocompromised). And let us not forget that as ministry is my second career, I delight in getting into the data. As a former environmental researcher who hung out with epidemiologists all the time. Thank you for all you do!

I appreciate the attempt made at trans inclusion in this and I think it mostly pans out, but if you’re going to try and break up trans men and women from their counterparts it’d probably be best to have the list read as cis men, cis women, trans men, trans women instead of giving the cis folks the default title of “men/women” something which is also true of trans men and women

I read another commenter agrees W/me. Don't use race --use ethnicity. One living race: H. sapiens sapiens. That some Europeans have a few percent unique Neanderthals genes doesn't make them another race either.

If I can't opt out of questions about race or Hispanicity my only option is to opt out of the whole survey. This applies to all surveys not just yours. I miss paper where it was easy to skip anything.

So sorry, YLE, there is no way you can improve your communication skills.

Well beyond perfect already.

Just, please, don't go deep into the "the greatest science of Man" politics.

<<grin>>

“Parent or primary caregiver” is confusing. Yes, I’m a parent, but my children are long out of the house and we are empty-nesters. I will be answering “no.”

Could you please explain your reasoning for not wanting to debate or dialog with Steve Kirsch or any other prominent misinformation spreader? It seems like you could humiliate him on camera and really grow your subscriber base.

You may not change a lot of minds, but you could take a page from the conspiracy theorists' handbook and sow doubt about their credibility. Cause some confusion in the minds of those who are convinced that the vaccines are dangerous or useless.

Do you allow non-paying subscribers to post comments? I'm about to get my answer.

Did the survey! My one comment is that the "gender" section is very strange. Why not use "man," "woman," ", transgender man," and so on? Male/female is usually used for sex, not gender. Maybe I'm missing something.

Done and thanks for the reminder.

Eeek! I hit submit too early on your survey. You asked about other topics - I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which is FINALLY being taken seriously by most of the medical community. So I’m also interested in hearing about how to get newer information out to doctors on conditions formerly considered “rare”, as most remain uninformed even with learning programs (like EDS ECHO) in place.
