What an overwhelming, positive response for my COVID-19 Risk Situation infograph! I've gotten many requests. Specifically, to add more situations and/or make a 8" by 11" format so it can be easily printed for patients or others. Tomorrow I will send the following to all my paid newsletter subscribers:
Super helpful, thank you for all your hard work! Hoping the new info graph might include the vaccinated person (masked or unmasked): unvaccinated person masked. Thanks!
What if in the masked/unmasked scenarios the masked person is wearing an N95 or KN95 (assuming said masks are legitimate and not fakes)? How would the transmission differ? How much better is the masked person protected? It’s hard to find this information.
Hi, I don't know how to email you but I LOVE your infographic on the vaccine comparison. I am what you call a COVID Vaccine Matchmaker and have dedicated my facebook page for the last 5 weeks to access tips for signing up. My reach and success rate has been pretty astonishing. I more recently have posted that infographic and a plea for non brand hesitancy. If you have any updates to that, please post!!
I don't know where to put this request... but I saw that you will be speaking with March for Science about life after vaccination. Can you talk about little kids? I know 2 moms with MIS-C kids and I'd just rather not. I have a toddler and a kindergartener. How much do I let them back out into the world? We currently have the highest covid numbers in my state (and a lot of deniers/anti-maskers). The toddler is unreliable with a mask and likely both will be if the adults aren't masking, too. I feel like little kids are going to be left behind while the rest of us move on. Also, we have a family member who is in and out of hospitals and treatment facilities on a daily basis, who cannot wear a mask, and who coughs fairly uncontrollably and constantly (COPD, end stage renal disease, cancer/chemo, heart failure). He will receive his second vaccine next week. What are the risks to the kids and vice versa of close, prolonged, indoor contact? Thank you for all your hard work. You have been a light in the dark.
Please look at the Risk table which presents masking scenarios for an infected and uninfected person where neither is vaccinated. While the adequacy of masking is a major variable, I would think that if one person was vaccinated, they could be in that situation, reasonably masked, and be at most at moderate risk. I’ve been following mask research intensively for the past year, so I am perhaps more sensitive to the nuances about how people mask than most.
I subscribed as well and wondering if you've sent these out yet? I know the CDC released some new guidance too. Thanks!
I subscribed earlier this morning. Will I be able to receive it? Thank you for your work!

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to keeping us properly informed and healthy. Comal county positivity rate is 66%.

I just subscribed as well!
Just subscribed! Would I have access to the PDFs? And may I share? Love your hard work and appreciate it.
Thank you as this is really helpful and so important. We should all send it to the Governor as well.
