In time of uncertainty and fear, you rose to the occasion and did what you do best...research and report reliable data. This pandemic was politicized which divided people further. Your calm reliable posts were a beacon to many who chose not to divide, but unite. Job well done, YLE. You deserve all the accolades. And you are still my hero.

I have also very much appreciated your updates since I started following last fall and would be interested to see your updates continue in some form. At the least, it would be great to have your insight as COVID transitions from pandemic to endemic disease, but I would also be interested in non-COVID epidemiology topics someday. You are a great explainer. Thank you so much for all these updates!

I hope it continues. Not Covid-19, obviously, but this newsletter. There's more to epidemiology than Coronavirus. While this pandemic has certainly been a CV booster and tested your training as a professional, and your metal as a person, epidemiology doesn't end with the pandemic. I'd like to keep you and add you to my list of regular professors I learn from (Prof. Racaniello, TWiV and Prof. Smith are the others). There are so many other infectious diseases I'm curious about, such as Leishmanias.
