You are amazing! Your fellow epidemiologist in WA state. I keep posting that this is the best Holiday present anyone could gift someone - a subscription to your newsletter! THANK YOU for your endless work
Sorry I missed out on the survey, and a bit sad because I don't see us Silent Generation (me) & Boomers (a few neighbors) on the graph. I'm 79, live in a 65-person cohousing community where agreeing on a mask policy has been a struggle, subscribed after my 60-something neighbor posted a copy to our intranet. What have I gotten from the newsletter? "All the above." Looking not only for answers but good questions!
Thank you Dr. Jetelina, for all you have shared with this community. I've learned so much from you and have encouraged others to follow you as well. People have favorite celebrities, athletes, writers, and musicians. I have a favorite epidemiologist. 😂 While I'm still looking forward to knowing the latest on COVID, I'm also looking forward to learning about other public health topics from you in the future.
Your newsletter is fabulous and checks all the boxes: informative, not too too often, beautifully written, timely and sprinkled with a little dry and often self-deprecating humor. Brilliant. Love, YLR(eader)

Thanks so much for sharing the results of your survey. It is wonderful that your work is so broadly known and valued. Since I subscribed recently you don't know who I am. I am a retired Environmental Health Specialist/MPA in Washington State. I am 68 (the only one in the 65+ category?). Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for all that you do! I can’t overstate how much you’ve helped our family navigate the pandemic with two kids that are too little to get vaxxed. Please do what you can to avoid burn out - I’d gladly read a series of updates from another respected voice of it meant you could take a break!
Thank you for creating the newletter and, especially, for keeping it going. It is my source of facts about what is happening in relation to covid spread and government responses. We need you, and we thank you.
I missed the survey! But yes, love what you are doing. I'm a family physician who wants to stay up on the pandemic for my patients and I recommend your substack regularly. I'm impressed by your newsletters frequency and thoroughness, especially since i want to do something similar for my patients but havent had the bandwidth. So thank you so much <3 <3
Subscribed and thank you!! I didn’t get a chance to fill out the survey but I know you seem to have a growing following in finance. And we subscribe-people should be paid for their work!
Clearly with 78% of your audience being a parent/caregiver your data is helping us to intelligently and objectively manage the waters while we are in continuous unchartered territories. So a huge thank you for the information and the validation that the decisions I am making for my family are the right ones.
Just subscribed and felt great about it. Your posts have positively impacted my little family, our community and has helped in our work places. Thank you for all your hard work!
Thanks Katelyn, for offering your expertise. I think a lot of us are realising we need to support proper information because the key to overcoming a problem is to understand it first. Hi to everyone on the same journey. 👋

Love the idea of a gift subscription-- but it doesn't seem to be an option right now.
Just subscribed for myself and would love to gift my dad a timely source of reliable info, please consider adding gift subscriptions?
Thank you SO much for your incredible work.

I'm Gen X, and not many of us here either, which surprised me, since I thought we were more the staid newsletter type. Glad to see you here!

Couldn't have said it better myself. All of the above!
❤️ You & DrHCR have been my "paid" subscriptions thruout this pandemic.
Can't thank you enough!

The two essential emails in my inbox! Both subscriptions are well worth it!

Keep it up! Thanks! Proud to be one of the 65 + y.o. subscribers (just barely...)
