Katelyn, I'm an old DVM who subscribed to you when I learned that you LIFE had been threatened for doing your work. I am SO glad to see that you carry on into the next generation, and I'm sure, beyond. 😻

Katelyn, I recently got Novovax…and hallelujah, no reaction! You had said you were going to get Novovax at Halloween. Will you get a second dose in 2 months? Trying to decide whether I should. Also….the thought of RFK Jr being anywhere near our healthcare agencies gives me chills.

Thank you for the list of self-help references.

I don’t like either candidate, so no matter the outcome, your list is appreciated.

Dear YLE, I found this article very interesting, especially in regards to your post on misinformation. This case is getting very little publicity here in the US. The plaintiffs claim that Gates and Bourla made misleading claims about the efficacy and safety of the Covid vaccines. I believe Kansas has initiated a lawsuit against Pfizer for false advertising for violating its agreement with the FDA, as a condition for obtaining the EUA, that its ads would disclose that the vaccine was not fully approved by the FDA. And in another recent development, the health agency with jurisdiction over several counties around Boise Idaho have banned the vaccine for the latest variant. I haven’t done a deep dive on this stuff yet. I don’t yet know if there is any merit to these claims. But I’m very interested in your take on these claims. Do they have any merit?

Bill Gates Must Face Vaccine-Injured in Netherlands Court

Netherlands judge rules that Bill Gates must face seven people injured by COVID-19 vaccines in court in the Netherlands. Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, is another defendant.

Thanks Katelyn. I think too many people are too hyper focused on this moment. History shows we have had many seemingly unnavigable cross roads. But we have managed to navigate them. The challenge of our bipartisan system is that it includes the word Partisan. Look it up. It means divided from ones political opponents and reluctant to compromise. That opens the door to the perpetrators of fear and our fear amplifying media. That's a public health topic few want to take on. But those members of our society are guilty of wrong doing. They amplify everything they can. They hire PhD in Psych and human behavior. They hire writers who are really good at telling a story that turns up the urgency, building to a crescendo of mid twisting stress. It's a sickness. All of us in "health" know that stress drives disease, yet we tolerate the daily, no minute-by-minute, deluge of stress inducing splick big media spews.

Election years like this are just the worst examples of the sickness. "Leaders" yell out obvious falsehoods about their opponent and never get called to account. Being a "politician" is the easiest job in the world. It comes with a built-in excuse for failure. And of course you get political cover from your media friends. The other side of the aisle. I was going to fulfill my promise to you but THEY wouldn't let me.

But in the end, it means little. We'll survive just fine. As for the health policy issue, I agree with you, but consider that of the last 20 years, the dems have had the white house, and often both chambers of congress for 12 of them. 60% of the time....and still have not been able to get a lot done for the health of our citizenry.

I'll be glad when this election cycle is over and we can get on with the real world tasks that need to be accomplished.

Thank you for the box breathing suggestion! It occurred to me that I do something like this when I do archery. Breathe in, hold while I'm aiming and releasing the breath after I release the arrow. After a session with the bow my mind is very calm and I want to be quiet to enjoy it.

Thanks for all your hard work. What do you think about the reports that the President-elect will give Robert Kennedy control of the public health organization within the federal government?
