Gorgeous resources! Thank you for your compassion and generosity in gathering and sharing them. And so wonderful you are teaching your daughter your values in action. Both raise my spirits
Those photographs of you and your daughter, on this [election] day in particular, are absolutely, gloriously hopeful. Thank you for your work and for giving us an emblem of care for the next generation as well as our own.
Katelyn, I'm an old DVM who subscribed to you when I learned that you LIFE had been threatened for doing your work. I am SO glad to see that you carry on into the next generation, and I'm sure, beyond. 😻
Katelyn, I recently got Novovax…and hallelujah, no reaction! You had said you were going to get Novovax at Halloween. Will you get a second dose in 2 months? Trying to decide whether I should. Also….the thought of RFK Jr being anywhere near our healthcare agencies gives me chills.
Thank you for the box breathing suggestion! It occurred to me that I do something like this when I do archery. Breathe in, hold while I'm aiming and releasing the breath after I release the arrow. After a session with the bow my mind is very calm and I want to be quiet to enjoy it.
You came to see us (DC) on one of our few nice weeks 🤣. On a more serious note, thank you for all that you and other public servants do for public health!
Thank you, Katelyn, for sharing this very human and compelling perspective on the importance of this election to public health. Is there are more “democratic” branch of science than public health? Public health for all and each one benefits.
I am super emotional today so I'd like to say how grateful I am for you and your hard work (as well as your colleagues). Whatever happens, they're are smart folks trying to do the right thing and that makes me feel hopeful.
Thank you for all your hard work and sharing with us both your expertise and humanity.
Kind regards - George Sachs

Wonderful. I've also shared. The coping lists your colleagues assembled will be very helpful to many.
Thank you!
Thanks for this! So good to keep in mind. Reminds me how on 9/11 someone posted this meme that helped me: https://images.app.goo.gl/8f7RZLhGYuhw8icm6

Thank you for the list of self-help references.
I don’t like either candidate, so no matter the outcome, your list is appreciated.

Thank you. For your work, your kindness, your encouragement. Please extend my gratitude to others working for us in public health.
Thank you Katelyn. I appreciate the resources!
